**What you'll do**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and front-end developers, to define software requirements and specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
- Debug and resolve complex software defects, providing solutions in a timely manner.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Contribute to the technical design and architectural decisions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to Java and Spring Boot.
- Mentor and assist junior developers as needed.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Lead the migration efforts from Node.js to Java, ensuring a smooth transition with mínimal disruption to existing systems.
- Analyze existing Node.js codebase and functionalities to plan and execute a comprehensive migration strategy to Java.
- Modify and adapt existing code to align with Java development standards and best practices.

**What makes you a great fit**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of professional Java development experience.
- Proven expertise in Spring Boot, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in database design and development using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Spring Professional Certification) are a plus.
