- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
- Strong expertise in API Automation Testing and Java Scripting
- Proficiency with Selenium for automation testing
- Experience with REST API testing tools like Postman for manual testing and Rest Assured or Karate for automation
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
- Good knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with MySQL
- Familiarity with MongoDB, JSON queries, and DB concepts
- Ability to design and build automation frameworks from scratch
- Proven ability to write and execute scripts using REST APIs
- Effective communication skills and ability to independently manage multiple work streams

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Java and relevant frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement testing strategies
- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks ensuring scalability and reusability
- Perform manual and automated API testing to ensure high product quality
- Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and comprehensive documentation
- Execute BDD-based test scenarios using Cucumber and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Conduct database validation using SQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity
- Participate in code reviews, defect triage meetings, and provide test status updates
- Ensure that testing practices are aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals
