**Job Title**: Account Assistant

**Reports To**: Senior Accountant/Finance Manager
**Job Summary**:
The Account Assistant will support the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and assisting with monthly and annual reports. This role is vital for maintaining the financial health of the organization and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Record Maintenance**:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Post daily revenue and expenses to the accounting system.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up on payments.
- **Reconciliation**:
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies.
- **Support in Financial Reporting**:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate on budget preparation and variance analysis.
- **Payroll Assistance**:
- Help prepare employee payroll, including calculating hours and ensuring accurate payments.
- **Compliance and Audits**:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- **General Administrative Tasks**:
- Maintain organized financial records and handle correspondence related to accounts.
- Address queries from vendors, customers, and staff regarding financial matters.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 1-2 years in accounting or finance roles (experience in the F&B industry is a plus).
- **Skills**:
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and payroll processing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
