Interior Draughtsman

The Interior Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for interior spaces, collaborating with architects, designers, and clients to ensure that designs are accurately represented and meet all specifications. This role involves translating conceptual ideas into technical drawings using CAD software.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with architects and other designers to develop interior design concepts that align with project goals.
- Conduct space planning, site inspections, and design research to ensure designs are practical and meet client needs.
- Create detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas to clients and project teams.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with project specifications and budget.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all design aspects are completed on time and within budget.
- Present design concepts and progress to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
- Maintain organized project documentation, including design revisions, material samples, and client correspondence as per office standards.
- **Requirements**:

- Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably within an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of color theory, spatial arrangements, and materials.
