**Key Responsibilities**:
**Medical Care and Diagnosis**:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health and detect medical issues.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, x-rays, ultrasounds, and other imaging techniques.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

**Treatment and Medication**:

- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications, vaccinations, and treatments to promote animal health and prevent diseases.
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed.

**Emergency Care**:

- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing critical care and stabilizing animals in distress.
- Make swift decisions to address life-threatening conditions.

**Client Education and Communication**:

- Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.
- Educate pet owners about preventive care, nutrition, behavior, and responsible pet ownership.

**Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, documenting examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and other relevant information.

**Collaboration and Leadership**:

- Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to support staff and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- MVSc Medicine/ Surgery with small animal clinical experience of a minimum of 1 or more years.
- 1+ years of experience in veterinary practice (specific years may vary based on the position).
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in animal welfare.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Salary**: ₹36,957.84 - ₹65,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangalore City, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
