**Cassandra DBA**

**Experience**:3 - 5 years

**Location**:Vaishali, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [Work from office]

**Primary Skills**:DBA's role, Cassandra, Data Center, Cassandra Cluster, 24*7 Support

**Secondary Skills**: Spark, NoSQL DB

**Desired Skills & Responsibilities**
- Hands-on experience with Cassandra database hosted on-premise.
- Setup Nodes, Work on Foundations, Data Models, etc.
- Implement a Cassandra Database in an enterprise, Design and Support data migration.
- Cassandra database Administration on a Multi datacenter environment.
- Should have hands-on experience in setting up Cassandra cluster.
- Must have experience in Monitoring, Performance Tuning and Managing Cassandra cluster.
- Strong understanding of complex inner workings of Cassandra, such as the Gossip Protocol, Hinted Handoffs, Read Repairs, Merkle Trees.
- A deep understanding of Cassandra design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the factors that affect distributed system performance.
- Data processing\ETL experience of structured\unstructured data into Cassandra cluster through Cassandra export\import utility or Spark jobs.
- Experience with the following languages: Spark or bash will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on other NoSQL database like hbase will be an added advantage.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills.
