Pgt Chemistry Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary school students.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Chemistry curriculum that aligns with academic standards and promotes conceptual understanding, scientific inquiry, and laboratory skills.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences in the Chemistry classroom.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities to reinforce theoretical concepts and principles of Chemistry.
- Assess student learning and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including laboratory reports, quizzes, tests, and projects.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs and abilities of students, including those with diverse learning styles, backgrounds, and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, departmental teams, and school leadership to develop and refine curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment practices.
- Use data-driven instruction and assessment data to inform instructional decision-making and support student achievement goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate actively, ask questions, and explore scientific concepts.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, academic performance, and other relevant matters.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events to enhance teaching skills, stay current on best practices in Chemistry education, and support school initiatives.
- Engage in continuous reflection and self-assessment to improve teaching practices, instructional delivery, and student outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field (required).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialization in Chemistry (required).
- Teaching certification or licensure in secondary education (required).
- Previous experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary school level, preferably in an international or multicultural setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using technology tools and digital resources to enhance Chemistry instruction and support student learning.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching practices, inquiry-based learning, and hands-on laboratory experiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and achieve academic goals.
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures for laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement as an educator.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Trichy, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
