- Job details:

- Procurement of materials and services based on factory requirements, Bill of Material & services (BOM) at the lowest price whilst ensuring quality and
- on-time delivery.
- Integrates Procurement in the Factory management process and Factory teams at an early involvement during sales phase.

Areas of Responsibility:

- The Incumbent should be a team player and be able to work with cross functional team for all topics.
- Identify and develop cost-cutting potential, target-costing, realize. procurement targets and meet requirements relating to deadlines and quality.
- Knowledge of procurement methods and strategies and implementation of procurement strategies.
- Excellent Negotiation and Communications skills with proven capabilities of managing different supplier relationships (collaborative vs confronting style)
- Drive our future vision, your toolkit may include some of these key skills e.g. decision making, expert level negotiation skills, ownership culture,
- structural and strategic mindset, assertive and cooperative approach, ability to self-manage workload, cooperation in international and local networks
- The incumbent should have experience to work in matrix organization. He/she has to adhere to Siemens process and compliance and has to follow
- DOA.
- Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant processes along the entire value chain as well as export control and customs requirements.
- Analyze, derive and implement procurement strategies, managing and negotiating with suitable suppliers as well as awarding and conclusion of
- procurement contracts.
- Manage, plan, operate and control Strategic Procurement (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return) of the value chain - within E mobility Jalgaon factory - for fulfilling customer orders and for sustainable improvement of performance and costs.
- University degree in engineering is required.
- Knowledge of SAP and Supply Chain Management, MS Software and other analytical tools shall have advantage.
- Drives Procurement strategies in Factories and ensures their implementation of KPI’s like CNI, CTG, E Bidding / Auction & PTE etc.
- Use of various advance negotiation concept to identify right product at correct cost
- Supplier Evaluation, Qualification, development and Management
- Contract Mgmt.:

- Ensure that major Procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply and potential claims (towards customers and suppliers) are
- covered in valid contracts. Ensure that contractual obligations (towards the customer that must be fulfilled by supplier) are covered in a way that
- mitigates the own risk exposure.
- Good understanding about Import Transaction
- To handle centrally Sustainability in Procurement like Carbon web assessment (CWA), External Sustainability audit (ESA), EHS requirements and
- other relevant procurement topics.
