Infection Control Nurse

**Role & responsibilities**
- Plan, organise & conduct Infection Control programmes for hospital employees
- Act as a source of reference & provide information relating to the field of infection control
- Assist in scheduling and organising Hospital Infection Control Meetings and related activities
- Conducts regular infection contorl audits
- Prepare and distribute reports of findings to the Infection Control Committees
- Collect data in support of epidemiological studies of specific problems or problem areas to determine source of the problem & provide recommendations.
- Develop, update & initiate isolation techniques & procedures in accordance with current standards.
- Participate in maintaining policies & procedures which provide for preventive medicine.
- Assist in prepartion of policies related to exposure to infectious diseases, prevention of cross contamination & microbiological sampling of patients
Perform all other related duties as given by the supervisor from time to time
- Thorough knowledge of Infection Control
- Clinical experience
- Provides excellent patient care.
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Knowledge of biomedical equipments
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- Multi-tasks well in a fast-paced workplace.
**Experience**
2 to 6 years in a reputed hospital
