**Job Title: Germany Counsellor**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Counselling and Support**:
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients dealing with various issues, including personal, academic, career, and family-related challenges.
- Develop and implement personalized action plans and therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- **Assessment and Planning**:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed case notes and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and milestones.
- **Cultural Sensitivity and Community Engagement**:
- Understand and respect diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring that counselling practices are inclusive and culturally sensitive.
- Engage with community resources and refer clients to additional support services as needed.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness and support.
- **Professional Development**:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in counselling and mental health.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
- Maintain relevant certifications and licenses as required.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
**Experience**: 2 to 5 years of experience in a counselling role, preferably within a German context.
**Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using counselling software and tools.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural nuances.
