*Job Title: Software Product Owner**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7+ Yrs. Of experience
- Health care industry experience is a plus
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
- Certification in Agile or Product Management is a plus.

As a Software Product Owner, you will play a critical role in the development and success of our software products. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, translating them into user stories, and guiding the development process from conception to release.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Product Vision**: Define and communicate the product vision to the development team and stakeholders.

2. **Requirement Gathering**: Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements and prioritize features.

3. **User Stories**: Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation to effectively communicate requirements to the development team.

4. **Backlog Management**:
Prioritize features and manage the product backlog based on business value and stakeholder feedback so that important tasks are given topmost priority.

Product backlog must be clearly defined and all items need to mentioned elaborately

Ensure that product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood and properly estimated by scrum teams

5. **Release Planning**: Work with the development team to plan and prioritize releases, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

6. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Collaborate with design, development, testing, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of features on time

7. **Feedback Collection**: Gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to continuously improve the product.

8. **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of the product.

9. **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that delivered features meet the required quality standards and address customer needs.

10. **Market Analysis**: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs to inform product decisions.

11. Contributing to vision and roadmap: As a product Owner, take the lead of scrum teams and provide vision and direction to agile scrum teams (development ,QA team and stakeholders) throughout the project and create requirements.

12. Align with organisational and leadership communicated goals and abreast with agile/scrum best practices and new trends in the team

13. Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of release/ sprint goals

14. Set Sprint Goals: Work within the team and project to set achievable sprint goals

15. Making tough decisions on what features to include in each sprint or release based on value they will deliver to customers and the business

16.Evaluate the work done by development team and provide constant feedback.

17. Product owner must ensure that product backlog is communicated clearly to all team members

18. Product owner should communicate clarity on product requirements and user expectations effectively

19. Provide guidance and clarification to the Scrum Team in estimating effort for tasks

20. Product owner must ensure following up for product defect closure and managing the tasks.
