Archery Coach

**Job Title: Archery Coach / Instructor**

**Department**: Sports / Physical Education
**Reporting To**: Sports Coordinator / Principal

**Job Purpose**:
To develop, train, and mentor students in archery, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship while ensuring safety and adherence to school sports policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Training & Coaching**:

- Plan and conduct regular archery practice sessions for students across age groups.
- Teach proper techniques for shooting, aiming, equipment handling, and competition preparation.
- Develop progressive training programs to build students’ archery skills.
- **Safety & Equipment Management**:

- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed during practice and competitions.
- Inspect and maintain archery equipment (bows, arrows, targets) regularly.
- Educate students about equipment care and safe practices.
- **Competition Preparation**:

- Identify and train talented students for inter-school and district/state-level tournaments.
- Organize school-level archery events, demonstrations, and competitions.
- **Student Development**:

- Foster discipline, focus, patience, and teamwork among students.
- Provide feedback and performance evaluations to students and parents.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain attendance, progress records, and reports of archery activities.
- Collaborate with the Sports Coordinator on schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or equivalent (preferred).
- Certification in Archery Coaching (e.g., from a recognized sports federation) is desirable.
- Prior experience as an archery coach or competitive archer.
- Strong communication, motivational, and organizational skills.
- Ability to ensure safety and discipline among students.

**Work Environment**:

- Based on the school campus (indoor/outdoor archery range).
- May require occasional weekend or evening work for competitions or special events.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
