Nuveen Product Analytics - Trainee

The Nuveen Product Analytics - Trainee job works within a team of analytics associates and leverages product data and helps refine the product strategy. Under limited supervision, this job utilizes dashboards and market insights and helps improve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Communicates financial performance and productivity to management.
- Provides data analytics and reporting for complex investment portfolio products.
- Collaborates with product and business stakeholders to define requirements and understand business data needs.
- Researches business intelligence technologies used for data gathering.
- Creates data visualizations that translates into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Assesses data quality and works with data engineers; extracts data needed for analysis.

Educational Requirements
- High School Preferred

Work Experience
- No Experience Required; 2+ Years Preferred

FINRA Registrations
- SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7

Position Summary : Business Intelligence Trainee supports decision making and promotes an insight driven business culture. The BI Trainee oversee dashboard development, data visualizations, develop system requirements, and test solutions, and support solutions deployments.

Impact : Customer data is used to ensure high quality customer service, efficient distribution management and critical inputs to strategic planning and performance measurement. Enterprise delivery of data and insights via Tableau CRM are a critical enabler to a higher performing distribution platform that supports all elements of sales, service and support

Functional Responsibilities:

- Develop advanced Tableau CRM data visualizations with ability to create complex formulas and calculations within Tableau CRM to meet the needs of complex business logic
- Maintain and publish syndicated Tableau CRM Dashboards on Salesforce
- Identify and resolve dashboard related issues
- Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment.
- Collects the data, does large scale processing and delivers to user community
- Data administration and planning - resolves systemic errors, monitors the data ecosystem, addresses continuous integration, supports data management and governance
- Provides ideas to improve data ecosystem effectiveness and efficiency; participates in the implementation
- Provides adhoc analysis and reporting assistance from various internal departments
