Skill:

Responsibilities include:

- Manage the buying process for a given set of goods in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Provide technical / commercial assistance to Commodity Buyers to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge.
- Develop and maintain a strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant purchasing and sourcing concepts.
- Balance both tactical executions with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects.
- Actively participate in supplier performance reviews.
- Prepare records of goods ordered (purchase orders) and check goods received notes (GRN and

Quality Notes)
- Establish required quality of materials and spare items in conjunction with plant production, quality and maintenance team members.
- Locate and analyses vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sale
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
- Prepare purchasing department budgets for raw materials, consumables and spares
- Review and analyze consumption reports received from plant
- Oversee purchase assistant at factory
- Review purchase contracts for conformance to company policy
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability, especially for raw materials that form a large cost of goods sold
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedure.
- Participate in developing specifications of raw materials, parts and equipment that needs to be ordered
- Liaison between plant and vendor to resolve any material, parts or equipment disputes
- Negotiate purchases and contracts with vendors on behalf of the company
- Liaison with plant on rejected materials and scrap and arrange for either return to vendor or disposal of scrap and rejection goods

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
