ASML Imaging Principal Scientist / Architect Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Work across different teams as an uber tech lead to set the technical charter for Firefly Foundational Image Generation model.
Ability to convert a research idea/paper to code in Python and typical machine learning development toolkits.
Collaborate with outstanding researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to production.
Conduct applied research and development in GenAI models
Provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior team members.
What you'll need to succeed
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ ML or related fields
Excellent communication skills. Good articulation and storytelling to convey technical visions within cross functional teams.
Excellent technical leadership skill. Experience in tech leading large number of contributors on time sensitive and business critical GenAI projects.
Experience in state-of-the-art Generative AI technologies, such as GAN, diffusion, transformer models
Strong hands-on experience with GenAI model training
Strong collaboration skill. Experience with working in a Matrix organization, driving alignment, drawing conclusions and getting things done
Working with large-scale datasets
**Preferred experience**:
Experience and deep understanding of the nature and development phases of GenAI research
Working with product teams on technology transfers. Experience with working in a fast-paced production environment.
Good publication record in Computer Science, AI/ ML or related fields
