**Job Summary**:
The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP GTS collaborates with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sourcing functions to define, deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions. This role will also help define strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for Trade Compliance with integration Sales &Distribution, transportation, Materials Management, Warehousing and Sourcing. This role has primary accountability for the delivery of SAP GTS design and configuration including project delivery, system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Possesses deep understanding of the overall vision and business needs and utilizes this knowledge to collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sourcing to define detailed business requirements for D&T enablement of business needs. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
- Utilizes knowledge of best practices to define strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical SAP GTS solutions, doing so in partnership with Application and Infrastructure. This includes interpreting up to the most complex issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
- Spearhead the mapping of map business requirements to optimal technical solutions.
- Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements.
- Uses breadth of expertise to solve complex problems. Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
- Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
- Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
- Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

**Education and Experience**:

- 5-8+ years of related work experience in SAP GTS.
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Deep expertise, understanding and knowledge of SAP - system functionality and technical understanding of products modelling and configuring in SAP system.
- This position will have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and work closely to fulfil the business needs. A strong understanding of SAP GTS concepts and other modules is an add on for this position.
- Expert in GTS Configuration, Compliance and customs management
- SPL and Embargo, License Determination and Product classification
- Customs Export, import process, trade Documentation
- Classification files upload for customs management
- Comprehensive knowledge delivering cross border trade solutions, with substantial SAP experience utilizing GTS, MM,SD,Logistics Execution process.
- Work experience on Intrastate Reporting for European region
- Understanding on Risk Management
- Change management and testing process knowledge
- Should have good understanding on the integration between different systems.
- Should have knowledge on IDoc communication.
- Tasks include: Discussion with Onsite team, preparing analysis document ,FS, Perform monitoring, change request and quality testing.
- Demonstrate capability to utilize best practices to support SAP ERP Configurations across modules for the business.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good Problem Solving and Communication skills..
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient English language skills
- Willingness to global travel
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

**Competencies/Authorities**
- SAP GTS (Compliance & Customs management, Risk Management), Good Knowledge on Integration between GTS and ECC systems (SD, MM,FI, PP).
- Secondary or Optional Skills SAP SD
- Certification in SAP GTS
