Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of the glass manufacturing plant. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, implementing cleaning schedules, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and ensuring a well-maintained work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Supervision & Team Management:
Oversee housekeeping staff and assign daily tasks.

Train and guide team members on cleaning procedures, safety measures, and the use of cleaning equipment.

Ensure staff adherence to company policies and hygiene standards.

Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of housekeeping personnel.

2. Cleaning & Maintenance:
Ensure regular cleaning of production areas, offices, restrooms, canteens, and other facilities.

Implement and maintain deep cleaning schedules for machinery, shop floors, and high-risk areas.

Manage pest control and waste disposal procedures as per industry standards.

Monitor and maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and PPE.

3. Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in housekeeping activities.

Conduct routine inspections and audits to maintain high hygiene standards.

Report and address any hazards, spills, or maintenance issues.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and facility upkeep.

4. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and incident reports.

Report housekeeping-related concerns to management.

Keep track of consumables and request replenishments as needed.

**Key Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping or facility management is a plus.

3-5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or glass industry setting.

**Skills & Competencies**:
Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and procedures.

Understanding of safety and hygiene regulations in a manufacturing plant.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

**Work Conditions**:
Requires standing and walking for extended periods.

Exposure to heat, dust, and industrial environment.

May involve shift work and working on weekends/holidays as per plant requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,963.35 - ₹20,317.23 per month
