Introduction:
We are seeking a Treasury Executive to join our central banking team of 5 colleagues in Gurugram. The role involves maintaining banking records and processing transactions included on bank statements within the finance systems (General Ledger and Accounts Receivable modules) relating to businesses within the group, in accordance with internal processes and controls. The role will also liaise with Regional Finance leads for Banking, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable in New York, London and Hong Kong, as well as local colleagues in these functions and the the wider business to resolve receipt and payment queries.

The Group Finance team is in the process of being fully transitioned into Gurugram India, the Group’s second largest office. Initially reporting lines will be into Banking leads in the US and UK. Once fully transitioned, the role will report into the AP & Banking Manager, who is based in Gurugram, India.

The role will sit within the global central team that we are building in Gurugram, India. As such, it involves processing bank transactions across all regions. The Group’s head office is in London so there are likely to be requests from the UK. As such, while the role is based on local hours (9:00-5:30pm in Gurugram) some flexibility will be required to cover day-to-day contact with London and occasional meetings with other global offices.

Accountabilities:

- Process all lines on selected bank account statements on a daily basis
- Reconcile all lines on bank statements on a daily basis
- Query and follow up any discrepancies or unidentified payments or receipts on bank statements
- Maintain credit card data files
- Download and save Bank statements on a daily basis
- Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger on a monthly basis
- Assist with queries coming into the central banking team
- Input payments into the banking system and request approval from approvers with delegated authority
- Provide support for Treasury related activities as needed

- Strong academics - Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous work experience:

- Experience of working in a banking, AP or AR team within a global corporate environment
- Experience of working in a busy cashiers team, managing multi-currency bank accounts
- Experience of systems improvement, automation and standardisation of processes
- IT:

- MS Office and advanced Excel
- Experience of Zuora advantageous but not essential
- Experience of an ERP system (PeopleSoft an advantage)
- Languages:

- Excellent English
- Key skills:

- Knowledge of cash reconciliation and banking procedures
- Experience of performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail
- A customer focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders
