**Job Title : Risk & Governance Specialist**

**Role Description**:
Non-Financial Risk (NFR) is the risk of loss resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems, or external events. This includes the risk of reputational damage but excludes business and strategy risk.

Deutsche Bank’s Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) team, in the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD), works in partnership with the business and infrastructure functions to proactively manage the bank's Non-Financial Risk Profile and improve the control environment.

The function ensures that the bank's Non-Financial Risk exposure is adequately managed in-line with the group wide risk appetite and NFRM framework

This role sits within a new team, NFR Analytics & Insights Team, this is a cross-risk team within NFRM that spans all non-financial risks and Divisions across the bank. Its mandate is to drive a proactive risk management approach to non-financial risk, analysing data via deep dives and peer comparison to identify, challenge and escalate risk hot spots. Also, to augment risk analytics to drive a more dynamic view of our key and emerging risks.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Support in creation of NFR insights for a forward looking / proactive risk management holistic view.
- Detailed internal and external data analysis including emerging risks, strategy, and industry trends to create bespoke hot spot insights and deep dives.
- Input into NFR reporting for the bank’s non-financial risk governance to debate and manage decisions for NFR.

**Your skills and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent education
- E xperience in risk management, audit, compliance, anti-financial crime, or related experience. Previous experience, knowledge of the Non-Financial Risk Framework and its components are added advantage.
- Comfortable using Excel to perform deep-dive risk analysis (VBA skills a plus), Tableau.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Comfortable with presenting to and interacting with senior stakeholders across the Bank including NFRM, Risk Type Controllers and 1LoD (DCOs, Business Heads etc.).
- Attention to detail oriented, strong teamwork mindset, desire to continuously learn and take on strategic challenges.
