**Title**:Kafka Administrator (Confluent and Apache Kafka) - L3

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Administrator with expertise in Confluent and Apache Kafka, along with a strong background in working on Linux platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administration and configuration of Confluent and Apache Kafka clusters in a production environment.
- Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data replication, and connectivity problems.
- Implement security measures and access controls for Kafka infrastructure.
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation for Kafka clusters.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Strong experience as a Kafka Administrator, specifically with Confluent and Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in Linux platforms and command-line tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Kafka architecture, topics, partitions, brokers, and producers/consumers.
- Hands-on experience in Kafka cluster deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Kafka security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data replication, and fault tolerance.
- Experience in monitoring Kafka clusters and implementing proactive alerting and monitoring solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to Kafka infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
