Job Opportunity for Autodesk Alias **Styling Design Engineer**

Location: Chandigarh

Experience: 6 months to 1 year

Immediate Joining Required
- **Responsibilities**_:
1.Interpret 2D sketches, scan data, or clay models to build accurate 3D surface models using Alias.

2. Collaborate with styling teams, product engineers, and CAD teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

3. Develop Class-A surfacing (exterior & interior) with high aesthetic and functional quality.

4. Support design iterations, design reviews, and conceptual development.

5. Ensure surface models meet engineering constraints and release standards (fit, finish, tooling, and manufacturing).

6. Coordinate with digital clay and physical modelling teams to refine surfaces.

7.Provide support to engineering for CAD integration and downstream activities.

8. Maintain version control and documentation of design models.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:
1. Proficiency in Autodesk Alias (Class-A surfacing)

2. Strong understanding of design aesthetics, surface continuity, and mechanical integration.

3. Familiarity with automotive design standards and tooling requirements.

4. Experience in reverse engineering and working with scan data.

5. Basic knowledge of engineering design constraints and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).

6. Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

7. Ability to work independently and under tight timelines
