Career Counsellor

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one career counseling to students, job seekers, and professionals.
- Assist in identifying career goals, personal strengths, and career pathways through assessments and counseling sessions.
- Guide individuals through the process of selecting relevant courses, certifications, and career development programs.
- Stay updated on market trends, emerging job sectors, and industry needs to provide accurate and valuable advice.
- Assist in resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Develop and conduct career guidance workshops, seminars, and group sessions.
- Maintain records of counseling sessions and track individual progress.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, employers, and industry professionals to facilitate job placements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Career Counseling, or a related field.
- Prior experience in career counseling, human resources, or education sector is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of career development trends and the ability to relate them to individual cases.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to relocate to [Insert Location].

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in skill development or training institutions.
- Familiarity with job placement services and industry networking.
- Proficiency in career assessment tools and software.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
