Position Title: AI Technician

Position Purpose:
The AI Technician is a key support role within the AI and data science team, assisting the AI Technical Lead in executing AI projects. This role involves hands-on technical work in areas like machine learning, data processing, and model implementation, ensuring the smooth operational aspect of AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Support in AI Projects:

- Assist in the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms under the guidance of the AI Technical Lead.
- Participate in the data preparation, cleansing, and preprocessing activities for AI projects.

Model Implementation and Maintenance:

- Help in deploying AI models into production and monitor their performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AI systems and models.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the AI Technical Lead and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Communicate technical information to team members in a clear and understandable manner.

Research and Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Assist in researching and evaluating new tools and technologies that could be beneficial for ongoing and future projects.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Contribute to the documentation of AI projects, including model development processes, data handling procedures, and technical manuals.
- Assist in preparing reports on project progress and outcomes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated technical experience in AI, machine learning, or data science on the Azure cloud platform.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI and data science, such as Python or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc) and data processing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud computing services and their AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools.
