**Laser Internship**

Are you a final year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Physics, Optics or related field? Are you interested in lasers? Then this internship could be the one for you

**Project**:Optimisation and characterisation of diode pumped solid state (DPSS) nanosecond laser**

**Description**: You will get hands on experience with laser and optics while working under the supervision of LaserQuant Engineer. On successful completion of this internship, you will get a broad knowledge about laser operation and characterization which includes,
- Basic idea about CW and pulsed lasers
- Basic training on optics alignment and laser safety measurements
- Daily laser operation experience
- Optimizing laser performance by monitoring the variation of system parameters with output power
- Measuring power stability, thermal response and checking laser beam profile. Pulse width and peak-to-peak stability will also be monitored as part of laser characterization process.

**Essential requirements**:

- Must have the right attitude and approach to work, learn and contribute positively to the team.
- Be a **final year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Physics**, **Optics or related field.**
- Proactive and be able to communicate well.

**Good to have (not essential)**:

- Hands on optical lab experience including fine alignment
- Working in clean room environment

**- Working hours**: Monday - Friday; 10am - 6:30pm
- **Working location**: On site at LaserQuant Technology, Opp. Hislop College, Civil Lines, Nagpur - 440 001
- Successful completion will lead to a full-time permanent job offer at the end of internship.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
