**Job Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment
- Provide analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices.
- Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
- Follow pre-defined actions to handle BAU and High severity issues including escalating to other support groups Execute daily adhoc tasks or lead small projects as needed
- Provide expert analytic investigative support of large scale and complex security incidents.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Streamline the workflows and identify and execute opportunities for automation

**Key Skills**:

- **SIEM** - Splunk, Sentinel or any other.
- **EndPoint Security**(EDR)-CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack
- **Threat Management** - Skybox, FireEye
- **Vulnerability**:

- Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower
- **Malware Sandboxing **- ThreatGrid, Wildfire
- Validate suspicious events and incidents by using open-source and proprietary intelligence sources
- Develop dashboards and reports to identify potential threats, suspicious/anomalous activity, malware, etc
- Use case creation and IPS signature tuning.
- Playbook creation and act as SPOC for all queries
- Certifications from EC-Council, GIAC, (ISC)² are preferred [CISSP, CEH, GCIA, CCNA etc]
