**Key Responsibilities**
- **Individual and Group Counseling**:

- **Mental Health Assessment and Intervention**:

- Conduct assessments to identify students' mental health needs, such as anxiety, depression, and stress.
- Develop and implement intervention plans for students experiencing emotional or behavioral issues, and track their progress.
- **Crisis Intervention**:

- Respond to mental health emergencies, offering immediate support and assessing for safety risks.
- Collaborate with school administration, parents, or guardians to manage crisis situations effectively.
- **Academic and Career Guidance**:

- Help students set and achieve academic and career goals by providing resources, advice, and motivation.
- Work with students on academic challenges, like time management, test anxiety, or study skills.
- **Preventive Mental Health Programs**:

- Design and implement workshops or programs on topics such as resilience, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and coping strategies.
- Organize awareness campaigns on mental health topics, promoting a positive mental health culture within the institution.
- **Collaboration and Consultation**:

- Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a supportive network around the student.
- Provide consultations and professional development for faculty on recognizing and addressing students' emotional or psychological needs.
- **Record Keeping and Confidentiality**:

- Maintain confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines for mental health services within an educational setting.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- **Licensing/Certification**: Required licenses or certifications for practicing as a counselor or psychologist, depending on location and institution policies.
- **Key Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach
- Crisis management and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with educational systems and academic counseling
- Organizational and record-keeping skills

A Student Counselor and Psychologist must create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, empowering students to manage their challenges and maximize their potential.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
