**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards as per industry requirements, particularly within refinery and power plant environments.
- **Risk Assessment**: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- **Training & Development**: Provide safety training to employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness of safety procedures and protocols.
- **Incident Reporting**: Lead investigations into accidents or incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- **Safety Documentation**: Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and records in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- **Emergency Preparedness**: Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness in case of an incident.
- **Safety Audits**: Perform safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Coordination**: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety practices into all aspects of project planning and execution.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay updated on the latest safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring the organization’s safety practices are always compliant.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: BSc degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum [VIII] years of experience as a Safety Officer, with specific experience in refineries and power plants.
- **Certifications**: [Any relevant certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, etc. (if applicable)].
- **Skills**: Strong knowledge of safety management practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and influence others.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to identify hazards and recommend solutions to ensure a safe work environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
