**Responsibilities**:

- Develop forecasting and analytics related code and continuous support for the product in the field.
- Debug and resolve issues as reported by customers in the existing solution.
- Conduct unit tests on the software as required.
- Translate identified business needs into data requirements and analytical techniques.
- Contribute to documentation, publications, and course materials for internal and external consumers.
- Do requirement Analysis, write functional specifications.
- Complete high-level and low-level designs.
- Work with UI/mid-tier teams to fulfill the requirements.
- Advise and assist team members and mentor junior developers.
- Expert in various SAS modelling tool like SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Data Mining Machine Learning, Visual Forecasting, Visual Text Analytics, SAS Model Manager etc.
- Very good knowledge of R, Python and other open-source tools.
- Should have experience in engaging in pre-sales activities like building demos, doing POC/POV's, writing proposals, customer presentations etc.
- Should have actual customer implementation experience solving problems in text mining, predictive modelling, forecasting, optimization, computer vision.
- Should have experience in solving business problems using analytics in variety of business domains like manufacturing, banking, insurance etc.
- Experience in productionization of models/scoring code in real time/near time/ batch mode depending on the business need.

**Skill Required**:

- 5+ years of analytics development or consulting experience.
- Expertise in Time Series Forecasting and Analytics.
- SAS/Python/R/Matlab/Mathcad experience is a must.
- Deep knowledge of SAS analytical offerings and putting code into production systems.
- Knowledge of software development processes and Quality Standards.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and with tools such as Jira, Confluence.
- Experience on Windows as well Linux operating system with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Gerrit.
- PhD/ME/MTech/MS in statistics or mathematics.
