**Job Position: PE Teacher**

The main responsibility of a physical education teacher is to provide students with knowledge of physical activities within the period duration. In the classroom, they teach students the necessary skills and safety measures that are important in the playground or field. Physical education teachers motivate their students and help them to get physically active and healthy in every way possible.

**Here are some other duties of physical education teachers**:

- planning tasks, events and other physical activity-related assignments for students
- teaching tasks that are safe for students and include movements and physical activities
- developing classroom lectures and assessments for achieving student's performance goals and overall physical education
- conducting tests which include physical activities and giving marks on the basis of performance
- collaborating with other staff members and creating curriculum goals
- communicating with parents about a student's performance and progress
- organising space and equipment for physical activities outside the classroom
- providing an adequate amount of equipment so that every student can perform the task at the same time
- giving the valuable knowledge and helping students learn new skills inside the classroom so they can perform efficiently on the fields
- applauding each student for their participation and performance and helping them to perform better next time

- Ability to teach every student and find their specific area of interest
- Good communication skills to get comfortable and connect with each student
- Ability to teach complex physical activities in simple form so that each student can understand and perform
- Confidence to speak and give training in front of a large group of students
- Patience to get friendly with the students and provide better coaching
- Knowledge of healthy foods and nutrition, physiology and metabolism
- Management and organisational skills to handle the cultural events and various activities in school
