**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Creation**: Write high-quality, engaging, and informative content, including blog posts, articles, product descriptions, web copy, and other digital content.
- **Keyword Optimization**: Incorporate relevant keywords naturally into the content to improve search engine rankings while maintaining readability.
- **SEO Best Practices**: Ensure content adheres to SEO guidelines, including proper use of headings, meta descriptions, internal linking, and keyword density.
- **Content Research**: Research industry-related topics and trends to generate content ideas that are relevant and valuable to the target audience.
- **Content Strategy Collaboration**: Work with the SEO and marketing teams to align content with broader SEO strategies and marketing goals.
- **Editing and Proofreading**: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the company's tone and voice guidelines.
- **Content Performance Monitoring**: Monitor the performance of content using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, adjusting the content strategy as needed based on data insights.
- **Content Audits**: Regularly review and update existing content to ensure it remains relevant, optimized, and in line with current SEO best practices.
- **Competitor Analysis**: Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for content improvement and keyword gaps.
- **Content Calendar Management**: Help develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to write in a clear, engaging, and conversational style while adhering to the company’s tone and voice.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Shopify (preferred).
- Strong research skills to develop well-informed, authoritative content.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in writing SEO-optimized content.
- Experience with content writing for various formats, including long-form blog posts, landing pages, and social media posts.
- Familiarity with on-page SEO elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, alt text, and schema markup.

**Work Environment**:

- Full-time or freelance/contract position.
