**_ Responsibilities_**:**_ _**
- _Tail Spend Analysis and Segmentation:_

**_ _**
**_o_** _Analyze tail spend data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Develop and implement strategies to optimize tail spend._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Segment tail spend by category, volume, and frequency for focused management._**:**_ _**
- _Procurement Process Optimization:_

**_ _**
**_o_** _Standardize and streamline purchasing processes for low-value, high-frequency items._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Implement process improvements to reduce inefficiencies and manual processes._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Automate and digitize tail spend transactions wherever possible to improve visibility and control._**:**_ _**
- _Supplier Management:_

**_ _**
**_o_** _Develop and manage relationships with tail spend suppliers._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Negotiate contracts for non-strategic purchases to ensure favourable terms and conditions._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Work with key suppliers to drive cost reduction initiatives and improve service levels._**:**_ _**
- _Compliance and Risk Management:_

**_o_** _Ensure that tail spend purchases comply with the organization’s procurement policies and standards._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Identify and mitigate risks associated with unmanaged or poorly managed tail spend._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Establish and enforce guidelines to maintain compliance with ethical sourcing practices._**:**_ _**
- _Reporting and Performance Metrics:_

**_o_** _Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor tail spend performance._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Prepare regular reports on tail spend trends, savings, and supplier performance._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of tail spend data._**:**_ _**
- _Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:_

**_o_** _Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to ensure tail spend management aligns with business objectives._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Provide support and training to internal stakeholders on best practices in managing tail spend._**:**_ _**
**_o_** _Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient execution of tail spend strategies._**:**_ _**

**_Qualifications we seek in you_**:**_ _**_Minimum Qualifications / Skills_**_ _**
- **_Education:_**

**_ o_** **_Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field._**

**_ o_** **_Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are added advantage._**

- **_Experience:_**

**_ o_** **_Prior experience in managing tail spend is highly preferred._**

**_ o_** **_Experience with procurement systems, supplier relationship management, and spend analytics tools._**

- **_Skills:_**

**_ o_** **_Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data._**

**_ o_** **_Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)._**
