**Position**: Compliance Associate

**Location**: Chennai, India
**Department**: Audit & Compliance
**Reports To**: Audit & Compliance Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **GST Compliance**:

- Assist in the preparation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
- Support in maintaining and updating records for GST input tax credit (ITC) and ensuring compliance with GST laws.
- Assist in monthly GST reconciliation between books of accounts, GST returns, and invoices.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns and assist with GST-related audits and assessments.

2. **Income Tax Compliance**:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, businesses, and companies.
- Support in the computation of taxable income, exemptions, deductions, and tax liabilities.
- Assist with the preparation of documents required for tax assessments, and audits under the Income Tax Act.
- Stay updated with changes in Income Tax laws and assist in implementing the same for clients.

3. **TDS Compliance**:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and ensuring timely deposit of TDS payments.
- Generate and issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A) for clients.
- Assist with TDS reconciliation, ensuring all deductions are correctly reflected in the tax returns and in the TDS statements.
- Liaise with clients to gather TDS-related documents, and support in resolving TDS-related queries from clients or tax authorities.

4. **Client Communication**:

- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax compliance and respond to queries regarding GST, Income Tax, and TDS.
- Provide clients with timely updates on their tax compliance status and assist in ensuring they meet all tax deadlines.

5. **Regulatory Updates & Advisory Support**:

- Assist in providing clients with guidance on tax-saving opportunities, deductions, and exemptions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
