Pre-primary Teacher

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Curriculum Development**:

- Plan and implement daily lessons for students aged 3 to 6, based on the CBSE curriculum and early childhood education best practices.
- Develop creative, engaging, and age-appropriate learning materials and activities that encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Foster a child-centric environment that supports learning through play, hands-on experiences, and visual aids.
- Utilize various teaching strategies, such as storytelling, role play, and interactive games, to help children understand key concepts.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe classroom environment.
- Establish and maintain discipline while promoting a positive, nurturing, and respectful atmosphere.
- Implement routines and schedules to ensure structure and stability in the classroom.
- **Assessment & Progress Monitoring**:

- Continuously observe and assess each child’s developmental progress in areas like cognitive skills, social-emotional growth, and language development.
- Provide regular updates to parents about their child's progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and maintain student records, including attendance, progress reports, and portfolios.
- **Parental Involvement & Communication**:

- Establish positive communication with parents regarding their child's development, behaviors, and academic performance.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on children's progress.
- Collaborate with parents to create supportive learning strategies both at school and at home.
- **Collaboration & Teamwork**:

- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a holistic learning environment.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, workshops, and professional development activities.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, events, and activities that promote the growth and well-being of students.
- **Extra-Curricular Activities**:

- Encourage participation in extra-curricular activities that develop creativity, physical activity, and social skills.
- Organize, participate in, and assist with school events, celebrations, and educational outings.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Proven experience as a Pre-Primary or Kindergarten Teacher, preferably in a CBSE school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school administration.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching purposes.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, from 11.30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend events or extra-curricular activities may require additional hours.

**Location: Kanakia International School - CBSE, Bhayandar**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
