**Job Title**: OFC Technician (Cabling, Splicing, Laying & Networking)

**Location**: Mysore

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a skilled **OFC Technician** with hands-on experience in Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) activities, including **cabling, splicing, cable laying, and networking**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform **OFC cable laying** (underground/overhead) and proper route management.
- Conduct **splicing, jointing, and termination** of fiber optic cables.
- Handle **OTDR testing, power meter testing, and fault localization**.
- Ensure proper documentation of fiber routes, splicing details, and test results.
- Coordinate with the networking team for **LAN/WAN installation and configuration**.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network issues related to cabling and connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with **safety standards** and project quality requirements.
- Provide **on-site technical support** for installation and maintenance activities.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Diploma/ITI/BE in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Proven experience in **OFC cabling, splicing, and laying**.
- Good knowledge of **networking basics (LAN, WAN, switches, routers)**.
- Ability to read and understand network diagrams and fiber layouts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on field projects.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certification in **Fiber Optics or Networking** will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of **structured cabling systems**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
