**Role description**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders on **technical decision-making**, **architecture reviews**, and **engineering standards enforcement**
- Architect and manage **cloud implementations**, **upgrades**, **migrations**, and **change requests**
- Evaluate systems for **capacity**, **scalability**, and **reliability**; identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Design and implement **event-driven architectures** using AWS services (e.g., **Lambda**, **SQS**, **SNS**)
- Define and enforce **S3 lifecycle policies** and **RDS high-availability strategies**
- Develop and optimize **Lambda functions** for performance and cost efficiency
- Implement **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using tools such as **Terraform** or **CloudFormation**
- Develop automation scripts to streamline operations using **Python**, **Bash**, or **PowerShell**
- Monitor and maintain environments using **CloudWatch**, **CloudTrail**, and centralized logging solutions
- Lead workload optimization efforts following the **AWS Well-Architected Framework**
- Drive **cloud modernization initiatives**, including cloud-native migrations of internal services and data platforms
- Ensure **security**, **compliance**, and **cost optimization** through industry best practices and continuous learning

**Skills & Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- **AWS Certification** - AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or higher
- Proven experience **architecting and engineering AWS environments**
- Hands-on expertise with core AWS services**:EC2**, **RDS**, **Lambda**, **S3**, **CloudFront**, **IAM**, **VPC**
- Strong experience with **VPC design**, **availability zones**, **cloud networking**, and **security best practices**
- Proficiency in **scripting and automation** (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with **CI/CD pipelines** and tools
- Expertise with **IaC** tools**:Terraform** and/or **CloudFormation**
- Familiarity with the **AWS Well-Architected Framework**

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, security, and operations teams

**Skills**:
AWS Architect, Devops, Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Python/Bash/PowerShell
