**Job Summary**:
As a Cashier at [Chaudhary Lifestyle], you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers at the checkout. You will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and maintaining a clean and organized cashier area. Your role is vital in delivering a positive customer experience while ensuring the efficient operation of the store's checkout process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide them with outstanding customer service.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and returns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about store promotions, offers, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, ensuring customers have a pleasant shopping experience.
- **Cash Handling and Transactions**:

- Accurately process customer purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and digital payment methods securely.
- Provide correct change, receipts, and process returns or exchanges according to company policies.
- Ensure that all transactions are completed efficiently and without errors.
- **Register and Store Maintenance**:

- Maintain an organized and clean cashier area, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is operational.
- Monitor and report any issues with the POS system, registers, or other equipment to management.
- Ensure the checkout area is free from clutter and safe for customers and staff.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support colleagues in other departments when needed, such as assisting with restocking or maintaining store displays.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage customer complaints professionally.
- Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and peak shopping seasons.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
