As our audience and reach expands in India, we are seeking an Editor to join us in Mumbai or New Delhi. We are looking for someone proactive who can identify the stories that matter to Bloomberg's audiences and work with reporters across different beats to tell them. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of Indian business/finance/markets and the ability to execute breaking news stories with accuracy and speed.

**We'll trust you to**:

- Make fast and decisive judgement calls to identify the most important stories as well as gaps in coverage
- Help our reporters grow and learn and develop their strengths
- Demonstrate an understanding of the nuances of Indian markets and companies
- Tell stories using various multimedia platforms

**You'll need to have**:

- A minimum of 5 years of recent financial journalism experience
- Experience working at a real-time news service
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Reporting experience covering financial markets or companies
- Strong work ethic, ability to work steadily and calmly under pressure
- Robust attention to detail
- A collaborative team spirit and the drive to innovate and experiment
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
