**Position Title**: Oracle Database Administrator (Senior DBA)

**Role Overview**:
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Oracle databases (Oracle 12c, 19c and above), supporting development and production environments, and contributing to database modernization and automation initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases across multiple environments.
- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and query analysis.
- Manage database backup and recovery processes using RMAN and Data Pump utilities.
- Implement and maintain high availability solutions like Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Monitor database health using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and custom scripts.
- Design and enforce database security measures, including user roles, encryption, and auditing.
- Manage database objects such as tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
- Support database development teams by writing, reviewing, and optimizing PL/SQL code.
- Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades with mínimal downtime.
- Develop automation scripts for routine maintenance tasks using Shell scripting, Python, or PL/SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues and incidents.
- Ensure database compliance with corporate security policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain database documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in production environments.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c administration.
- Expertise in RMAN backup/recovery, Oracle Data Guard, ASM, and Oracle RAC.
- Solid understanding of Oracle architecture (memory structures, background processes, data files, redo logs, etc.).
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL development, and performance tuning techniques.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for DBA automation.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for Oracle.
- Knowledge of GoldenGate replication and other advanced replication technologies.
- Experience with database security compliance (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and supporting BI/data warehousing environments.

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
