**Position Title**: Coordinator/Vice Principal

**Reports To**: Principal

**Job Summary**:
The Coordinator/Vice Principal works collaboratively with the Principal and other members of the administrative team to ensure the effective operation of the school. This role involves supporting the principal in various administrative, instructional, and student-related tasks to promote a positive learning environment and achieve educational goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Principal in the overall management and administration of the school.
- Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs to support student achievement and school improvement goals.
- Supervise and evaluate teaching staff, providing feedback and support to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Coordinate and oversee curriculum development, implementation, and assessment efforts to ensure alignment with educational standards and student needs.
- Manage student discipline by enforcing school rules and policies, investigating incidents, and implementing appropriate interventions and consequences.
- Support the implementation of special education programs and services, collaborating with special education staff to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
- Coordinate and oversee standardized testing and assessment processes, analyzing data to inform instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas such as instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment.
- Collaborate with counselors, social workers, and other support staff to address student academic, social, and emotional needs and develop intervention strategies as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, community members, and external stakeholders to promote parental involvement and community engagement in school activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors during crisis situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal to support the overall operation and mission of the school.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
- B.ed
- Previous teaching experience and coordinator experience
- Strong knowledge of educational principles, practices, and trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
