- Have a secure knowledge of **Dance**and relevant curriculum areas.
- Impart knowledge and develop skills and understanding through well-structured lessons.
- Foster and maintain students' interest and love for **Dance**.
- Contribute to the design and provision of an engaging **Dance**curriculum.
- Have clear rules and routines for behaviour in classrooms and promote good and courteous behaviour both in classrooms and around the School in accordance with the School's Code of Conduct.
- Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues, knowing how and when to draw on advice and specialist support.
- Plan and prepare students to take part in a wide range of Dance activities as part of the monthly, cultural and inter-school events and annual functions in the Primary and Secondary Wing in line with the annual academic plan.
- Uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside School.
- Safeguard children’s well-being in accordance with statutory provision.
