**Role description**:
**Job Title**: ELK Admin**:
**Experience Range**: 5-10 years
**Hiring Location**: Chennai/Mumbai/Gurgaon
**Must-Have Skills**:

- **ELK Stack**: Administration, configuration, and querying of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash/Fluentd (optional)
- **ELK Cloud**: Experience in setting up ELK stack from scratch and managing ELK cloud deployments
- **Kubernetes**: Intermediate knowledge (Cluster-level management, not just deployments)
- **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**: Terraform experience
- **Version Control System (VCS)**: Git proficiency
- **CI/CD Tools**: Familiarity with GitHub Actions (preferred) or similar tools
- **Linux Command Line**: Proficient in Linux administration
- **Development Environment**: Experience with VS Code
- **Configuration Management**: Ansible and HELM Charts

**Good-to-Have Skills**:

- **SAML Mapping**: Experience in configuring and managing SAML mappings for secure access control
- **Performance Optimization**: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Elasticsearch cluster performance issues
- **Elasticsearch Queries & APIs**: Proficiency in writing effective Elasticsearch queries and using APIs for automation
- **Infrastructure Automation & SRE**: Experience in developing and implementing Terraform for infrastructure automation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, indexing strategies, and Kibana spaces
- Implement SAML-based authentication and role-based access controls
- Monitor and analyze ELK cluster performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Automate ELK stack deployment and configurations using Terraform, Ansible, and HELM Charts
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Utilize Elasticsearch APIs for advanced automation and scripting
- Maintain best practices for log management, security, and infrastructure as code
