**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Care**:

- Provide comprehensive clinical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including respiratory, cardiac, renal, and neurological support.
- Administer advanced life support measures, including mechanical ventilation, sedation, and pain management.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize recovery.
- Conduct daily rounds, providing clear documentation of patient conditions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- **Critical Care Management**:

- Manage complex medical conditions such as multi-organ failure, sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and trauma.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., surgeons, neurologists, cardiologists) to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Oversee and coordinate the management of ventilators, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), dialysis, and other advanced ICU interventions.
- **Teaching & Supervision**:

- Supervise, mentor, and train junior intensivists, residents, and medical staff.
- Provide educational sessions and in-service training on critical care medicine for clinical staff.
- Contribute to the academic activities of the hospital, including research, journal clubs, and case discussions.
- **Emergency Management**:

- Lead and participate in emergency response situations such as cardiac arrests, trauma, and acute medical crises.
- Provide on-call support and consultations for critical care emergencies.
- **Quality Improvement & Research**:

- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical outcome assessments.
- Engage in clinical research in intensive care medicine, particularly in the domains of anaesthesia, neurocritical care, and critical care practices.
- **Patient and Family Interaction**:

- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear information about diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options.
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families dealing with critical illnesse
