**Position Overview**:
The Music Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate music instruction to students. This includes teaching basic music theory, vocal and/or instrumental instruction, and preparing students for performances and events.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a dynamic music curriculum aligned with educational standards
- Teach students to sing, play instruments, read music, and appreciate musical styles
- Prepare students for concerts, recitals, and school events
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and collaboration
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain classroom instruments and manage inventory

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Music Education or related field (required)
- State teaching certification (preferred or required based on your region)
- Prior teaching experience with [elementary/middle/high school] students
- Proficiency in [specific instruments or vocal training if applicable]
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for music education and student development
