**Job Summary**:
The Farm Manager is responsible for the daily management of farm activities, including planning, supervising, and coordinating agricultural production. This role involves ensuring optimal crop yield, livestock health, and financial sustainability, while adhering to environmental regulations and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Farm Operations Management**:

- Plan and oversee day-to-day farming operations, including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting of crops or the care and breeding of livestock.
- Manage farm machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- **Staff Supervision and Training**:

- Supervise and lead a team of farm workers, providing training, motivation, and support.
- Coordinate staffing needs, assign tasks, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health, and safety regulations.
- **Budget and Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the farm's budget, including estimating costs, analyzing profit margins, and controlling expenses.
- Monitor cash flow, purchasing of supplies, and ensure the farm operates within financial constraints.
- Prepare financial reports, track expenses, and suggest improvements to maximize profit.
- **Crop and Livestock Management**:

- Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and pest control to ensure optimal yield and quality.
- Oversee the breeding, feeding, and health of livestock (if applicable), ensuring humane treatment and optimal production.
- Maintain detailed records of crop cycles, harvest dates, livestock health, and other farm operations.
- **Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance**:

- Ensure farm operations comply with local and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, animal welfare, environmental protection, and worker safety.
- Promote sustainable farming practices, such as conservation, soil health, and water usage.
- Maintain proper health protocols, including disease prevention and biosecurity measures for livestock.
- **Supply Chain and Market Relations**:

- Coordinate the sourcing of farm supplies, such as seeds, feed, and equipment.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and agricultural contractors.
- Assist with the sale and marketing of farm products to local markets, distributors, or direct consumers.
- **Problem-Solving and Decision Making**:

- Assess and resolve operational issues, such as crop diseases, machinery breakdowns, or staff challenges.
- Use data analysis and market trends to make informed decisions about crop and livestock management strategies.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**: Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Farm Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: Atleast 3 years of hands-on experience in farming or agriculture, including experience in managing a team.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of farming equipment, machinery, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with modern farming practices and technologies.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong team management and communication abilities.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze production trends, financial data, and operational performance.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle unexpected challenges and make quick, effective decisions.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, as farm work can be labor-intensive.

**Work Environment**:
Farm Managers work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be required to work long hours, especially during peak seasons.

**Compensation**:
Compensation for a Farm Manager varies depending on the size and type of farm, location, and level of responsibility. Salary may be supplemented with housing, bonuses, or profit-sharing arrangements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
