**Full job description**

A **VMC Setter/Operator** is responsible for setting up and operating **Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)** to produce precision parts. Here’s a general job description:
**Responsibilities**
- Set up and operate **VMC machines** efficiently.
- Read and interpret **engineering blueprints, schematics, and tooling instructions**.
- Select appropriate **tools and materials** for machining processes.
- Conduct **routine maintenance** and troubleshoot issues to ensure machine efficiency.
- Monitor machine operations to detect **malfunctions or production errors**.
- Perform **in-process inspections** and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Maintain **accurate production and inspection records**.

**Qualifications**
- **12th / diploma or Any Degree;** technical certifications are a plus.
- Minimum **1-3 years of experience** as a VMC Operator and Setter.
- Strong understanding of **CNC programming and machining processes**.
- Ability to read and understand **engineering drawings and specifications**.
- Excellent **problem-solving skills** and attention to detail.
- Ability to work **independently and as part of a team**.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
