अस्पताल में आने-जाने वाले सभी व्यक्तियों (स्टाफ, मरीज, आगंतुक) की जांच और निगरानी करना।
- किसी भी संदिग्ध या आपराधिक गतिविधि को पहचानना और उसे रोकना।
- आग, लड़ाई, चोरी, या किसी अन्य आपात स्थिति में त्वरित और उचित कार्रवाई करना।
- सीसीटीवी कैमरों की सहायता से पूरे परिसर पर नजर रखना।
- अस्पताल में आने वाले वाहनों की जांच करना और पार्किंग में व्यवस्था बनाए रखना।
- भीड़-भाड़ वाले समय में व्यवस्था बनाए रखना, विशेष रूप से इमरजेंसी वार्ड, ओपीडी आदि में।
- अस्पताल की इमारत, उपकरण और अन्य संपत्ति की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना।
- मरीजों के परिजनों और आगंतुकों को सही दिशा-निर्देश और जानकारी देना।
- रात्रि शिफ्ट में सभी क्षेत्रों का नियमित गश्त लगाना।
- अस्पताल में कर्मचारी और मरीजों के बीच किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा या विवाद को रोकना।
- दुर्घटना या आपदा की स्थिति में भीड़ को नियंत्रित करना।
