**Roles & Responsibilities**:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- To create CAM programs by providing manufacturing engineering solutions for intricate aerospace components and also extending support in the areas of NC Tool assemblies, Vericut verification, part prove out, shop support & manufacturing engineering support to customers using UG Nx software for CNC programming with precise attention to details by troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Propose improvements related to manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment and product quality for customers**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES**
Ability to understand the engineering definitions and develop sequential manufacturing process models for programme creation
- Good decision making capabilities in preparation of process
- Sound knowledge in new product introduction in line with the manufacturing launch plan
- Ability to generate cutting tool path and NC program code using UG Nx, and other tool platform
- Ability to create CAM programme using the 2D input drawing and 3D engineering model
- Hands on experience in turning, 3, 4 and 5 Axis milling, turnmill & VMC 4th & 5th axis fixed or continuous
- Hands on experience in selection of cutting tools & cutting parameters for Steel, Aluminium, Titanium & Nickel alloy materials
- Experience in analysis of NC codes post processing
- Expertise in Vericut, and other similar simulation software
- Ability to create tool 3Dmodels, assemblies and drawings in UG Nx, and other tool platform
- Ability to read and understand specifications and standards
- Work with cross-functional teams, local experts, partners and suppliers to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes are understood and accounted for as required
- **COMPETENCIES & SKILLS**
Good knowledge on various manufacturing processes
- Fully conversant in reading Engineering & Manufacturing Drawings
- Expertise in high and low volume production with an extensive background in CAD/CAM
- Sound knowledge interpreting the GD&T (standards ASME Y 14.5, JES 161)
- Sound knowledge on various controls (Siemens, Fanuc & Heidenhain)
- Sound Knowledge of creating CNC programs for 2 axis to 5 axis and proving out the parts
- Expertise in creation & customization of post processor
- Able to support root cause analysis and implementation of problem solving techniques
- Awareness of aerospace (AS9100, various ISO)

- Graduate in a Mechanical Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience- Should have background in Manufacturing & Shop FloorIT SYSTEMS & SOTWARE SKILLS5
- MS Office tools: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project.
- CAD/CAM tools: ESPIRIT, UG/NX, CATIA
- Verification: Vericut
