Battery Refurbishment Assistant

The Battery Refurbishment Assistant is responsible for assisting in the refurbishment, reconditioning, and maintenance of various types of batteries. The role involves working under the guidance of the Battery Refurbishment Supervisor to ensure that used batteries are restored to optimal performance levels. This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Assessment and Inspection**: Assist in the initial assessment and inspection of used batteries to determine their condition and identify refurbishment needs.
- **Cleaning and Preparation**: Clean battery terminals and casings to remove corrosion, dirt, and debris. Prepare batteries for further refurbishment processes.
- **Desulfation Process**: Aid in the desulfation process of lead-acid batteries, using specialized equipment and chemical treatments to remove lead sulfate buildup.
- **Electrolyte Management**: Assist in checking and replacing electrolytes in batteries as necessary. Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- **Charging and Testing**: Support the equalization and recharging of batteries. Conduct tests to measure battery capacity, voltage, and overall performance.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of battery conditions, refurbishment activities, and test results. Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Handle batteries and related materials following proper safety procedures.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Assist in the maintenance and calibration of refurbishment equipment and tools. Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Participate in training and development activities to improve skills and knowledge in battery refurbishment techniques.

Pay: ₹11,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
