Position Title: Receptionist
Job Overview:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere. This role involves handling various administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Operations:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
2. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and employees.
- Assist in resolving inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel.
3. Administrative Support:
- Assist with general office tasks, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.
4. **Communication**:
- Relay messages and information accurately to the relevant parties.
- Maintain a log of visitors and calls for record-keeping purposes.
5. Security:
- Monitor access to the premises and issue visitor badges as required.
- Follow security protocols to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other administrative staff to support overall office efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with various departments to address immediate needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (e.g., phone systems, photocopiers).
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with office management software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This is typically an office-based role with regular business hours.
- May require occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate special events or meetings.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
