**Clinical Research Fellow - Telemedical**

**Follow-up Study**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Fellow to join our team at Tata Medical Center,

Kolkata for a 1-year position to support an innovative research project focused on telemedical

follow-up with integrated electronic patient-reported outcomes for gynecological cancer

patients receiving pelvic radiotherapy.

**Duration**

12-month fixed-term position

**Qualifications**

MBBS or MD/DNB in Radiation Oncology

Registration with appropriate medical council

Strong interest in clinical research and telemedicine

Experience with patient-reported outcomes assessment preferred

Basic understanding of data collection and management

**Key Responsibilities**

1. **Patient Recruitment and Follow-up**:

- Assist in recruiting eligible gynecological cancer patients for the prospective

cohort study
- Coordinate and conduct telemedical follow-up appointments
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and ethical guidelines

2. **Data Collection and Management**:

- Implement electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) assessment tools
- Collect, enter, and maintain study data with high accuracy
- Assist in quality assurance of collected data

3. **Clinical Coordination**:

- Liaise between patients and the multidisciplinary oncology team
- Identify and escalate clinical issues arising during telemedical follow-up
- Document patient experiences and clinical outcomes

4. **Research Support**:

- Assist in literature reviews and research documentation
- Contribute to interim and final analysis of study data
- Help prepare progress reports and research presentations

5. **Protocol Adherence**:

- Ensure compliance with institutional and international research standards
- Maintain participant confidentiality and data security

**Skills and Attributes**

Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Proficiency with electronic medical records and research databases

Basic statistical knowledge and data analysis skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
